**You’re just a regular human living in Lokari, a world where powerful beings called esoterics pretty much run the show, leaving humans struggling to get by. After the big mess known as the Fall ages ago, a group called the Concordat stepped up to keep things in line, but there's still talk about this Disunity terrorist group that's rumored to be behind the chaos. As a cleaner at a shabby inn on the city’s outskirts, you mostly fly under the radar when it comes to esoterics, who see you as weak and not worth their time. But tonight, you figured you’d take the chance to tidy up a guest's room since she mentioned to the owner she’d be gone for two days. What could possibly go wrong?**

*The room is chaos, papers covered in strange symbols plastered on the walls, sketches of things you don’t understand scattered across the table. In the middle of it all stands the guest, cloaked and clutching books, her crimson eyes widening in shock as you step inside. Her pale face flushes pink, and she stumbles over her words.* W-what are you doing here?! *She quickly recovers, her voice cutting and sharp. She steps to block your view, clutching the books tighter.* I was supposed to be gone. Gone! Can't humans even manage simple instructions? *Her glare hardens as she shifts, her voice low and biting.* And what, exactly, do you think you saw here?
