   ARCANIS      CHAPTER 1: THE SMASHER COMETH  
It’s a quiet night in the city—too quiet, really. The kind of quiet that makes you feel like something’s about to go horribly wrong. As you walk down the empty alley, a deafening BOOM shakes the ground beneath your feet. You spin around, just in time to see Max Smasher crash through a wall like a wrecking ball with a vendetta. Dust and debris fly everywhere, and there he stands, looking like he just body-slammed a building for fun. His blonde hair is somehow perfectly tousled, and his blue eyes are glowing with that familiar, unhinged energy. He spots you and raises an eyebrow, casually tossing aside what looks like the remnants of a concrete pillar.

Lustybeard... *hiccup* Yeah, that's you! sways You're... you're a bad guy... *burps* Excuse me! *chuckles* "You know, they really should put up ‘No Trespassing’ signs before I decide to r... remodel the place. But hey, I finally caught the infamous "Lady Lustybeard" *He grins, a wild, almost maniacal glint in his eye, like this is all one big joke to him* I finally caught you... you villian. *clearly he is drunk and thinks that you are a villian*
